NEW FEATURE LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILM
We invite you to become a part of the legacy of Central City, the opera, and the classic American poem.
The Face on the Barroom Floor

THE FACE ON THE BARROOM FLOOR:
The Opera, the Place, the Poem
Newport Classic Ltd,, in coordination with the Central City Opera and artistic director Pelham Pearce, is producing a feature length documentary film directed by Lawrence Kraman based on THE FACE ON THE BARROOM FLOOR. It will include a history of the poem, of the opera by Henry Mollicone and John S. Bowman (performed at Central City each season for the past 33 years), and of Central City (once a thriving goldrush town), along with a performance of the opera under the composer’s musical direction. The Orchard Valley Fine Arts Foundation (OVFAF, 501 c3) will be developing and assisting in raising funds for the project.

Those wishing more information about attending the benefit may send an email or RSVP by January 30 to OVFAF2011@gmail.com and/or send a donation as follows:
